This is an annual benefit for CCYB. A fun event open to fathers and their daughters usually held in early November. This year's event is on Friday November 5, 2021 at the Cathedral of the Rockies (Franklin Road entrance) from 7-9 pm. Tickets are available at the door and payments are accepted in cash or check only.
Capital City Youth Ballet demands high standards of dance education, presentation, commitment, and by professional conduct within the ballet company structure. Weekly rehearsals, annual concerts, and community appearances allow our dancers the opportunity for growth and new experiences appropriate to the dancer's age and skill level.
Auditions to perform alongside the youth company members held each September for dancers, 10 years old and up, who are taking ballet classes a minimum of two times a week.
Auditions for next season's company members held in the Spring.

Capital City Youth Ballet has participated in many community outreach and collaborative artistic ventures. CCYB has performed with Timberline Orchestra, with local musicians in the Cathedral Concert Series, and with ELRO from Idaho Arts Charter School. The company has collaborated on a movement study in photography by Rick Ohnsman (featured photo above), and has performed for and taught children about ballet at the Boise and Caldwell libraries.
