Middle Division

Students entering the middle division will increase their class time into an hour and one half. This schedule develops a greater understanding of technique, strength, and placement. Girls will gain strength for eventual pointe work and boys will develop strength in legs and torso. Students will be promoted according to their progress and ability rather than grade alone.

Upper Division

Placement for new students into the intermediate through advanced levels is done by the director and faculty recommendation. Please call for an appointment for placement. All females on pointe in this level must attend a specific amount of classes. Students in this division have the opportunity to audition for Capital City Youth Ballet, our resident pre-professional performing company.

In the summer, we also offer modern dance, jazz, choreography composition classes, and ballet variations.

Private lessons and audition videotapes are available upon request at $45 per hour.
